In recent years, there has been a significant shift in the way mental and behavioural health is perceived and addressed, yet challenges like social stigma, workforce shortages, and fragmented healthcare persist. Our B.Sc. in Behavioural Health Sciences offers a robust, comprehensive, multidisciplinary curriculum that goes beyond traditional psychology degrees. It equips students with practical skills, including communication and stakeholder collaboration, and gives them the required educational qualifications to be workforce-ready.
This programme takes a holistic approach, addressing the social, cultural, legal, and economic factors influencing mental health. Unlike traditional programmes such as B.A. or B.Sc. in Psychology, Psychology Honours, or Applied Psychology, our degree stands out due to its focus on skill development and core competencies. Graduates are workforce-ready and prepared for diverse behavioural health roles or further specialization. Aligned with the NCAHP Act 2021, this degree ensures that students meet the highest professional standards in the field.
